Bay of Plenty has won the team title at the 2025 National Scholastic Surfing Championships in Taranaki, New Zealand.
The event was held from September 29 to October 3, 2025.
More than 100 top secondary school surfers from across the country took part in the competition.
In the final rounds, Bay of Plenty delivered a strong performance to secure the overall championship.
Ariana Walker from Bay of Plenty also won gold in the U18 Girls division.
The contests were held at Fitzroy Beach and Stent Road in Taranaki.
The event was supported by Surfing New Zealand, Secondary School Sport NZ, and other partners.
This victory highlights the strength of Bay of Plenty’s young surfers and adds pride to their regional sporting achievements.
