Gangster Rohit Godara’s Aide Claims the Killing Online

Shortly after the murder, a Facebook post by gangster Virendra Charan, a close associate of Rohit Godara, claimed responsibility for the attack.
Charan wrote that Rulania had “insulted the gang” during a ransom call last year, saying he wouldn’t even pay ₹100.
The post warned others who ignore their threats, saying, “Everyone’s turn will come.”
Police sources said Charan is hiding abroad and has several criminal cases, including murder and arms smuggling.
Interpol had issued a Red Corner Notice against him in May 2024
Police Action and Public Outrage
Police believe the killing is linked to extortion threats made earlier by the Godara gang, which operates across western Rajasthan.
Sources said Rulania’s police protection had been withdrawn recently, raising questions about security lapses.
Didwana SP Richa Tomar reached the crime scene along with senior officers.
Checkpoints were set up across the district, and search operations were launched to trace the shooters.
The gym has been sealed for forensic examination.
Angry locals and traders demanded the arrest of the culprits and justice for Rulania.
Protests continued through the day, with community leaders urging the government to take strong action against organised crime.
Background on the Rohit Godara Gang
Rohit Godara, a fugitive gangster linked to Canada-based criminal networks, has been associated with several contract killings in Rajasthan.
His gang is known for targeting businessmen and politicians for extortion.
This latest murder has once again exposed the reach of interstate criminal syndicates operating across the region.
