Authorities in Ajmer have uncovered a major food adulteration case involving the Shivansh Pizza Cheese Factory located in Padampura village.
The factory was raided by officials from the Food and Health Department after receiving complaints about large-scale production of fake cheese and ghee.
During the inspection, the team reportedly seized around 4,000 kilograms of adulterated cheese and 1,000 kilograms of contaminated paneer.
Officials also destroyed nearly 2,000 kilograms of spoiled cheese found on the premises.
Samples of the seized items have been collected and sent to a government laboratory for testing.
According to officials, the products were being supplied to nearby eateries and food outlets under the name of genuine dairy products.
Preliminary reports suggest that the fake cheese and ghee were made using low-quality oils and synthetic substances that could be dangerous for human health.
Authorities have initiated legal proceedings against the factory owner under the Food Safety and Standards Act.
The department said strict action will be taken against anyone involved in food adulteration, as such practices pose a serious threat to public health.
Residents have been urged to remain cautious while purchasing dairy products and to report any suspicious activity related to food manufacturing.
