The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) has achieved a big success in its fight against drugs.
The Pratapgarh cell of CNB carried out a special operation on the Neemuch-Pratapgarh bypass road.
During the action, officers caught two men riding a bike with 100 grams of mephedrone.
Officials said the operation was conducted under the direction of Naresh Bundel, Deputy Commissioner of CNB, Kota.
The team acted on a tip-off, set up a trap, and arrested the accused.
A total of 100 grams of mephedrone was recovered from them, worth several lakhs in the market.
Both men are now under detailed questioning.
The bureau suspects that their network may be active in other districts of the state.
Initial investigations are focusing on their supply chain and possible associates.
The Central Narcotics Bureau has confirmed that strict action against illegal drug trafficking will continue.
