Nigeria: At Least 6 Killed & 15 Injured After Suicide Bomb Attack In Northeastern State Of Borno

In Nigeria, at least six people were killed and 15 others injured after a suicide bomb attack in the northeastern state of Borno, yesterday. According to the police, the suspected bomber detonated an improvised explosive device at a busy motor park. The injured were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Borno Police Chief has said, the bomber targeted a wedding ceremony held near the motor park in the Marraban Gwoza town. He added that police had deployed armed personnel to cordon off the area while investigating the incident.
 

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the bomb attack.
