Indian High Commission Launched ‘One Tree4Mother’ Campaign In Bangladesh

The High Commission of India in Dhaka today launched a tree plantation campaign ‘One tree4Mother’ in Bangladesh. Saber Hossain Chowdhury, the Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister of Bangladesh and Pranay Verma, the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, jointly launched the campaign by planting a sapling at Chancery Premises, Dhaka.
 
 

Speaking on the occasion, the High Commissioner said that the launching of the campaign ‘One tree4Mother’ was inspired by Prime Narendra Narendra Modi who on World Environment Day-2024, launched the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign in New Delhi. Pranay Verma said that under this campaign, the Prime Minister called upon everyone, in India and around the world, to plant a tree in the coming days as a tribute to our mother.
