External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar arrived in Abu Dhabi this evening on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. On his arrival, he visited the Swaminarayan Mandir which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February this year. Dr. Jaishankar’s visit to the stone temple in West Asia underscores the growing cultural and diplomatic ties between India and the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Jaishankar is set to participate in the International Day of Yoga celebrations at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. He is also set to meet with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two are expected to discuss a wide range of issues pertaining to the India-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership, as well as regional and global developments.
