West Bengal: At Least 8 People Including 3 Railways Officials Killed After Goods Train Collided With Kanchanjungha Express At Rangapani Station

Eight people have been killed and 50 injured after two compartments of the Sealdah-bound Kanchanjunga Express derailed following a collision with a goods train near New Jalpaiguri station in West Bengal this morning. 
 
Railway sources said a container train overshot the signal and hit the rear portion of the Kanchanjunga Express, which had two parcel vans and a guard coach in the rear. NDRF, Divisional team, and 15 ambulances have reached the site. Help desks have been opened at different locations.
