Uttar Pradesh Marks 10th International Yoga Day With Defence Minister Rajnath Singh & CM Yogi Adityanath Leading Celebrations

On the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day, various programs on a large scale were organized across Uttar Pradesh. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh participated in a yoga program with Indian Sewa Jawans at Strike Core One in Mathura. He did yoga with Golf Ground Military officers and soldiers. On this occasion, he said that soldiers are also like yogis who face every situation with physical and mental strength. Mr Singh said that the way the army deals with any kind of tough situation is inspiring.     
 
The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the mass yoga programme organized at the Governer House. In his address, the Chief Minister said that Yoga Day paves the way for the welfare of the entire humanity. He appealed to the people to make yoga a part of regular practice for a healthy and long life.
 
Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Panchayati Raj Professor SP Singh Baghel participated in the Yoga Day programme in Agra.
