The festival of Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated with full devotion in Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, a large number of people offered Eid prayers in Eidgaah and mosques and prayed for peace and tranquillity in the country. The festival of Eid is being celebrated in a cordial atmosphere in the capital Lucknow and various districts like Amroha, Aligarh, Jaunpur, Meerut, Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad and Varanasi. In Lucknow, Namaz was offered at Aishbagh Eidgaah, Bada Imambara and Teele Wali Masjid. After offering Namaz, people greeted each other by hugging each other. In view of the festival, strict security arrangements have been made across the state.
