Share on:

The Telangana state government is planning to modernise government schools and residential schools. The government has taken the initiative to establish SC, ST, BC, and minority Gurukul schools under a single roof at an integrated residential school campus. The integrated campuses will be constructed in all Assembly constituencies in the state. The construction of integrated campuses will be taken up in Kodangal and Madhira Assembly constituencies on a pilot basis initially. Later, these campuses will be established in all the constituencies in a phased manner. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, and State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari reviewed the establishment of integrated residential schools with officials concerned yesterday in Hyderabad. They examined designs for these integrated schools submitted by architects. Besides classrooms, school campuses will be constructed as advanced educational institutions on par with international schools. The integrated residential schools will provide all facilities for students. Officials have been asked to design and construct school campuses based on land availability. Each Integrated Gurukul Complex will be built on an area of about 20 to 25 acres.
