Southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and entire Chandigarh. Indian Meteorological Department said conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest Monsoon into remaining parts of Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab during next two to three days. Active monsoon condition is very likely over Northwest, East and Northeast India during next four to five days.
In the last 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy falls occurred at isolated places over Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, and Gujarat. Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places over Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim, Tripura, and Assam. Heavy rainfall also occurred at isolated places over Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Kerala, Karnataka, and Arunachal Pradesh.
