Election Campaign Intensifies In Karnataka Ahead Of April 26 Polls

The Election campaign gallops in Karnataka in 14 seats going to the polls on April 26th. Many star campaigners from Congress and BJP are campaigning in the state. Congress National President Mallikarjuna Kharge campaigned in the constituencies around Bengaluru today. Addressing a public rally in Channapatna today in Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha Constituency, he said that Congress manifesto does not appease Muslims but wants the welfare of all the communities. He called on the voters to support Congress to save the constitution and our Democracy.
 
Campaigning for BJP candidate Tejasvi Surya in Bangalore South Constituency, the Tamilnadu BJP President Annamalai said that the Congress in Karnataka and DMK in Tamilnadu are the two faces of the same coin which indulges in appeasement politics and join hands with the anti social elements. He called upon the voters to send legislators who have the track record to deliver Modi’s guarantees.
 
In another development, the BJP has today suspended BJP senior leader K S Eshwarappa, who is contesting as a rebel candidate as an Independent from Shivamogga lok Sabha seat, for anti party activities.
