Delhi Water Crisis: Saurabh Bhardwaj-Led Delegation Meets L-G Saxena, Demands Capital’s Share From Haryana

Amid the ongoing water crisis in the National Capital Delhi, a delegation led by Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj today met Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena and requested to discuss with Haryana Government to release extra water to Delhi. Briefing the media following the meeting with Delhi Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Bhardwaj said that he was assured to speak with the Haryana government and try to provide water.

On the other hand, hitting out on the ongoing indefinite hunger strike of Delhi water Minister Atishi in New Delhi, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva termed it as a political drama. He said, Instead of improving the situation, the Delhi government is trying to hide its failure.
 

Delhi water Minister Atishi has been on an indefinite hunger strike since 21st June to seek extra water from the Haryana Government for the National Capital Delhi.
