Delhi Police Special Cell busts International Narcotic Drug Cartel, Seizes Drugs Worth Rs 20 Cr

In the national capital Delhi, Special Cell has busted an international narcotic drug cartel and seized illegal drugs worth 20 crore rupees. It has also arrested two key members of the cartel. In a statement, Special Cell said that arrested key members are from Nigeria and Ivory Coast. Both traffickers were based in Delhi-NCR and supplied drugs to different parts of the country. The Special Cell said it has confiscated almost 6 kilograms of Methamphetamine from the arrest. Upon integration it was discovered that they have been involved in trafficking drugs for more than two years. It was also revealed that they have been illegally staying in India without valid travel documents. The Special Cell said that both the arrested have also been booked for violation of Foreigners Act in cognizance of their illegal stay. Efforts to identify and arrest the remaining members of the drug cartel are going on.
