The number of people killed in the tragic accident that took place during the satsang of Bhole Baba in Ratibhanpur Mughalgarhi village of Sikandrarau tehsil of Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh has reached 116. Apart from this, 18 seriously injured people are undergoing treatment in Aligarh. This information was given by Aligarh Division Commissioner Chaitra B. At the same time, Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath held a meeting with senior officials in Lucknow today. The Chief Minister is in constant touch with the ministers and officials sent to the accident spot while he will be going to Hathras tomorrow. Ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured will be provided from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund while Prime Minister Modi has also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured.
An investigation team has been formed under ADG, Agra and Commissioner, Aligarh and instructions have been given to investigate the cause of the accident and report to be submitted in 24 hours in this regard.Hathras district administration has also issued helpline numbers 05722227041 and 05722227042 .
