Share on:

In Women’s Test Cricket, South Africa will resume their second innings, on day four of the one-off test match against India, at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai this morning. South Africa were 232 for two at stumps yesterday. They are still trailing by 105 runs.

Earlier, India bowled out the Proteas for 266 in their first innings, forcing to face follow-on. Spinner Sneh Rana scalped eight South African wickets, to become the third woman to bag an eight-fer in Test cricket. Rana’s exceptional spell along with Deepti Sharma’s two wicket haul bowled out the visitors for 266 in 84.3 overs. Following their deficit, South Africa was asked to follow-on after failing to match India’s formidable first innings total of 603 for six.
