T-20 Cricket World Cup: Super Eight Clash Between India And Australia Underway At St Lucia

Share on:

In ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Cricket, India have set a target of 206 runs before Australia in their Super 8 clash at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia. The Men in Blue posted a total of 205 for five in 20 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma led the innings with a quickfire 92 off just 41 deliveries.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and opted to bowl.

Team India already defeated Afghanistan and Bangladesh in the Super 8 group with ease. So a third straight win for India will not only make them the group toppers and send them to the semifinals, it will also substantially curb Australia’s chances of progressing through to the semis.
