PM Modi Appealed To People To Protect Environment By Planting Trees In Honour Of Their Mother: Union Minister Dr. L. Murugan

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan today said that Prime Minister in his first address after the General Elections, in Mann Ki Baat has appealed to the people to protect the environment by planting trees in honour of their mother and this is a great move which will inspire the younger generation.
 
Speaking to the media after the Mann Ki Baat program at Chennai today, he also pointed out that the Prime Minister in his speech had given importance to the rich culture and wisdom of the tribals living in the Country which is of immense use to mankind. To another query on the Tamil Nadu Government, he said that the State Government should take responsibility for the Hooch Tragedy and hand over the case to the CBI. Dr. Murugan said that Chief Minister M. K. Stalin should tender an apology to the people as more than 60 of them had died in the incident.
