Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju Condemns Misconduct Of LoP Rahul Gandhi In Lok Sabha During PM Modi’s Reply

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has condemned misconduct of the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reply.
 

Talking to reporters in the Parliament House Complex, Rijiju said that Congress was allotted 3 hours 48 minutes to speak during the Motion of Thanks during President’s address. He said, during the discussion in the Lok Sabha yesterday,  one MP from Manipur was given time to speak. However, the Congress members deliberately did not allow time to its own MP from Manipur to speak during the discussion.
 

Rijiju said that it was decided in advance that the Prime Minister will reply on the Motion of Thanks to President’s address at 4 pm on Tuesday (2nd July 2024) . But the Congress’ intentions were exposed as it did not allow its own MP to speak.
 

He also criticized Congress for not listening to Prime Minister’s speech whenever he speaks in Parliament.
