Newly Elected MPs Continue Oath Taking On Day Two Of 18th Lok Sabha

The second day of the 18th Lok Sabha today began with newly elected MPs taking oaths as members of the House. As the House met for the day, Advocate Gowaal Kagada Padavi of Congress took the oath in Hindi, while another party MP, Bachhav Shobha, took the oath in Marathi. BJP MP Smita Uday Wagh also took the oath in Marathi. Another party MP, Anup Sanjay Dhotre, Balwant Baswant Wankhade of Congress, Amar Sharadrao Kale of the NCP (Sharad Pawar), Shyamkumar Daulat Barve of Congress, Dr Shrikant Eknath Shinde of Shiv Sena, Naresh Ganpat Mhaske of Shiv Sena, and others were also administered oaths. The oath-taking ceremony is underway. A total of 266 MPs took oaths yesterday, and the remaining MPs will take oaths today.
