Indian Navy & Coast Guard Carries Out Successful Medical Evacuation Of Four Critically Ill Patients From Lakshadweep To Kochi

The Indian Navy and Coast Guard carried out a successful medical evacuation of four critically ill patients from Lakshadweep to Kochi last evening. The patients included two infants and a woman. An aircraft belonging to the Navy and another to the Coast Guard were deployed from Kochi to Agatti to transit the patients. They were subsequently shifted to a local hospital in Kochi for further medical treatment.
