BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj Moves Notice In Lok Sabha Over Rahul Gandhi’s Remarks

BJP MP  Bansuri Swaraj on Tuesday (2nd July 2024) moved a notice in the Lok Sabha over Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s remarks made in the Lower House on Monday (1st July 2024)  during his speech on the President’s address to the joint sitting of Parliament.
 
When the House met for the day, she moved the notice and alleged that  Mr. Gandhi made several inaccurate statements in his speech. She said, in her notice that  Mr. Gandhi’s certain comments were factually incorrect and misleading in nature and necessary action should be taken in this regard.  
 

Meanwhile, Mr. Gandhi has written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla over expunging some portion of his speech and urged that the remarks should be restored.
